our beginnings…
On this field was the villa of my grandmother, Ady Milankovici Mária Magdolna, the villa, which after World War II was nationalized and destroyed. Thanks to my parents, after about 20 years of trials, the land was reclaimed but the villa could not be saved.
2008 – the year when Beach Caffe Sovata was born, on the land located in Trandafirilor str. nr. 59. It started to sale of premium ice cream Gelato Ragonese under an umbrella. Every year we have succeeded in extending both the range of ice cream and the terrace. Today we have a rich assortment of ice cream, such as zero sugar-free ice cream, -vegana, -gluten free, – no lactose, raw vegan, to serve the special dietary needs of guests.

In a rustic environment with a relaxing atmosphere, you can enjoy a delicious coffee, we have limonades, spirits, cocktails.
The children will not get bored, the trampoline with protective net, table tennis, machinery, the toy box waiting for the small ones.

SOVATA
Szováta (Romanian: Sovata, German: Sowata) is a city in Romania, Mureş County. It is the center of the Székely-Sóvidék, a European-famous holiday town. The city is famous for its salt lakes and salt rocks.
The largest lake is Bear Lake. It contains an estimated amount of dissolved salt of 66,000 tons, the other lakes are the saltwater Mogyorósi Lake, Rigó Lake, Fekete Lake, Vörös Lake and Zöld Lake, as well as the freshwater Piroska Lake and Kígyós Lake.
It is an experience to float easily on the surface of the salt water of Bear Lake and admire the fabulous surroundings. This feeling is likened by many to Dead Sea bathing. A special physical phenomenon due to the heliothermal effect is the surface of the lake heats up to 23-25 degrees in summer, while the temperature of the deep water layers is the warmest at a depth of 2 meters, often reaching 41 degrees, so it is a pleasant feeling to dive in the lake water.
Bear Lake is approximately 500 meters from our terrace. It is a pleasant walk and if you don’t want to swim, you can walk around the lake.
